Graduation with Style: The Raffle's Way

A graduation ceremony done inside a hotel, with the posh and glamour that one would not expect on traditional school graduation. I can say that the people who made this event possible has style.. all the attendees are fashionably chic. From the set up to the dress.

I will not be surprised as this is hosted by Raffles Design Institute of Manila. For most of us who are oblivious to the run way or the modeling world we would rack our brains and it would not help. The rest would pull out their smart phones and look for it in google. ( some of you after reading this articles would already be doing that or have just checked out their page)..

So I'll not torment you nor tease. Simply put. Raffles Institute is an Institution that is young compared to other reputable schools here in the country. However, The curriculum is very thorough and impressive that in matter of  almost two and a half decades they have already branched out and have a network of 30 colleges and 13 countries. The secret to their success? The School offers practical quality education and provides  a well-rounded hands-on experience relevant to he industry for each student
As I was interviewing one of the graduates, Geo Ramirez; I can sense his drive and determination. This lad of 19 yrs of age is already a marketing and sales executive of  a cookware dealership company that caters to different hotels and restaurant  with in the metro. Sounds impressive isn't it? I, originally thought that Geo is also on the fashion course or any related course, but he quickly corrected me of that notion. Geo is a graduate of a business course and he is the only one of his batch for this year. When asked why he chose Raffles among the others, His answer is simple yet very straight to the point. The Institute offers the core subjects needed for the course required. Basically , they stick to the essentials and do not included non related pre requisitions. It is logical and is a sound idea and yes it does have some novelty in it..

And the  Show.. This fashion show presents the works of their graduates and their master pieces. I can see on the looks of their parents how proud they are of their children's  achievement. Of course the school has provided the place and the setup. but one can see some tell tale sign that most of the works from set up to the show has student contribution. In my point of view, This is more of a way of the student's showing their appreciation to their parents for the support and behind each graduates success.

So to this year's Graduates Good luck on you other endeavors and Soar High.!!!
