Toys for the Big Boys

I attended the press con for the toy con 2013., and I was thinking it would be the same thing. It's going to be the same stuff same toys, same gig as the previous years. But since I am a  kid ( at heart) and loves to see toys. I decided to go and see. Lo, to my mistake this is different from the previous years.

They have a better collection (samples) that showcases not only the newest toys but the classics as well. ( for those who were born in the 80's and are cartoon fanatics you know what i mean.) There are great action figures of the terminator, DC, Marvel, even from the great movies. and personalities. So what's new? well there will be a face off superhero. and Cos play competition. which the   grand winner can have the chance to enter in the world summit cosplay.. ( so for the cos players this is your chance.)

Toys aside; there are also compilation of Great comics, from the infinity wars( am I that old already? ) up to the xmen versus avengers. and they offer great deals as well. Some comics are on 50% off.. yes my friends for the comic enthusiast there are comics that are 50% off!. Not only for Marvels and DC< but also Dark Horse comics, Image, etc.

This event would be at SM Megatrade hall starting on June 14-16. Even for the Cos lay that have been separated into three categories, the Kid Squad Category, which is for kids ages 12 and below. The Group Category League of Superheroes from age 13-40 and the Face Off category.

So for the Kids and Kids at heart this is your chance.. You'll never know this maybe your chance to see the toys you're looking for and complete your collection. I'll drop by there as well to see the full collection. I KID you not. what i saw are just a fraction of the show case they have. ..

  

Carlo Rossi Sweet Red

Wine has been generally appreciated by men world wide; because of the taste or the aftertaste. (or in some cases as vice). Wines are served on any occasions and possibly on many meals as well. Wine has been clinically proven that one glass a day would help keep the heart healthy. This has been the a great reason why more people should drink wine (in moderation  of course). 

Now since it is the men who is mostly enjoying this benefit where are the women you might ask? In this society there are less female population who drinks or appreciate wine., Most of the wines out there in the market are full bodied and has taste that it is mostly pleasing to the male palate.  Now what if there is such a wine that has been made to please the  women's taste. The Sweet Red and the best part about it is this is served with ice. You heard me right this is served with ICE!! and the flavor is till there. Now for the wine afficionado you know that we don't put ice in the wine coz it changes the flavor and ruins the texture but I kid you not, This Sweet Red   has retained its flavor even with the ice.

The wine is truly  has been made for ladies to enjoy the taste of wine and for non alcoholic afficionados  to appreciate the wine without getting tipsy. This is a bridge to celebrate good times and still be sober at the end of the party.. The best part of it all? It has low alcohol content.  

This is great for people who just enjoy the slight buzz but i would not recommend this for the heavy drinkers :) Don't believe me? you can try it out for your self ;P

Manila Meets Fast and Furious

I had an entertaining walk earlier today thinking that this would be a slow day for me. Suddenly my bestfriend called me up since she has a spare ticket for the meet and greet cast of Fast & Furious. SO what did do? Yes folks I dropped everything and went directly to MOA to be a part of the media and fans who has been waiting for hours  just to see some of the cast.

I have waited for two hours standing. no chairs mind you, While some of the people there were already at the place since 1 in the afternoon talk about die hard fans..If you ask me It is worth the wait ladies and gentlemen.

The atmosphere is charged up and everybody is really anticipating and very excited to greet the stars, There are other international who is also covering the event not only the local channels.The stars came and everybody went wild!! People are screaming getting their autographs,.and the stars were very accommodating and approachable. They spent as much time as they can with the fans and the signing autograph and picture taking. and the cast members who are in manila are no less than Mr. Luke Evans, "Paul Walker",  Gina Carano" Riley", Michele Rodriguez," Letty Ortiz" and Last but not the least Mr. Vin Diesel Himself!!. Yes. Dominic Toretto graced Manila with his appearance.

Everybody was shouting his name as he entered the stage. This is a movie to watch in the BIG Screen and folks this is really worth watching,

The event was overwhelming both cast and fans are overwhelmed.The cast are overwhelmed by the reception we gave them tonight, and as for us.. Well we're simply start struck.. :P

The night ended with a bang.. with fireworks and a Ddodge SRT challenger being auctioned out and the proceeds will be given to charity.
