SM Megamall held a fashion show at Fashion hall for denims yesterday July 26, 2014. The show highlights denims in its evolution, variations of designs and styles. Some in Classics others in Fashion  chic.

Jean Fashion has definitely evolved over the years, and has various designs, suts, styles, and washes over the year. Reshaping the image . SM Supermalls celebrates the denim festival capped off by SM Megamalls #MadAbout Denim campaign.

Fila's Rock and Ride ( ATAT Racing )

Last July 9, 2014, a party was held in Jill’s at the Fort for the birthday of the President of Fila. This event was made in honor of the lady who made great things possible for the shoe brand that is familiar to all and making it a national trademark for at least in the local grounds. Endearing more to the hearts of Filipinos who love sports and fashion.

Ms Cris Albert, the celebrant graced the night further with the presence on her stunning black dress and bubbly personality, mingling with everyone. Her radiance and game  attitude made the party more enjoyable not only as the host but as the life of the party. That event was a bash. Drinks flowing, foods great celebrities are all around,

 

What better way to make this event more meaningful and spectacular? I mean honestly, great place, good food, drinks, and lovely people all around? Thanks to the effort and great idea by Ms. Cherry Burwell  Fila’s Advertising and Promotions Manager.  What more can you ask for? Well , Fila has teamed up with the ATAT Racing the only motorcycles group that’s also the racing team of the country. Having a  The bikes being used for the races and showcased on this event are every boy’s or man’s dream. Its’ like bike heaven, we got the Ducati race bikes, bikes that are faster than your average cars,  which can go up to 290 K/h. The manager of this prestigious racing team is Mr. Lester Codog Owner of Foilacar who has seen the idea value and team  up of Fila’s brand with the racing team.

The team that has won in several race tracks and brought pride to nation on motorbike racing.  They had joined in international competitions and has made a name in such races that we are gaining ground as nation on this sport. This hobby is expensive.  Each bike would cost a minimum of 1.8M pesos and not including the spare tires and other accessories. Each tire would cost around 18,000 Php. For regular joe’s like us this is more than what we earn for half  a month or even a month.  All the members are businessmen and they do this for the love of the sport.  I can imagine the expenses already. You can see the pics of the bikes and the members below ( Guys, iT’s ok to drool and look) I sympathize, we know we can’t afford these babies, for now!! But I have touched and sat upon the saddle. Haha ( Note: I sat not rode the bike ok?)

Going back to the party, Philippine volcanoes was there as well as guest for the lovely celebrant. A lot of personalities , endorsers, and even not from showbiz are there as well wishers to out celebrant.  As the party comes to full swing and the event a success, we can expect many great things to come as with the mademoiselle who made all this possible for Fila. A Queen on her own rights and a visionary with the sense of nationalist pride.

Parachute Bags; Transform!

Bags comes in all shapes and sizes depending on function. Backpack, Sling bags, Pouch ,the list goes on...

 They may have variations but all have common grounds , They’re used for placing items and they only have one form.

So now, There is a brand that can transform from backpack to slingbag, or ladies bag to backpack. Pretty cool, the messenger bag is cool as it can transform into backpack, but the rest are for the ladies, so for the guys well we have limited selection for now. Yet for the people who like mix and match colors, you have a wide range to choose from. For those who like the plain, subtle solid color or just two tone bags patience my brothers and sisters!! The hope is near, the dawn when a transformer bag will be made specifically for us the people who are more comfortable with one color and blends in the crowd so well we are incognito.. 

Did I say Parachute bags? Yes I did, these are the same bags that we are talking about. Why parachute bags? Let me already cut through some of you guys reading this. These bags are parachute bags because they are made from the same materials as the parachutes are made of. They are water resistant. Perfect for rainy season since your things will not get wet and easy to clean. J Ok smart alecks out there, don’t  get any idea of go jumping over the roof or from the plane using these bags as parachute.  Please be more sensible than that, And I hope you have more sense than some crazy ideas that we have..

Project Pie: Make your own Pizza Combination

Pizza, one of our best comfort foods, technically it’s a meal all in one. You got the carbs, proteins, Veggies, dairy, and other whatever you think you’d like as toppings. It can be eaten cold or hot, and the gooey cheese that drips especially served while hot. So why am I talking pizza? Well, I am talking about the new pizzeria in town.

The Project Pie Pizza is here !! It’s technically a food place (I can’t think of a better word but if you can please tell me.) that specializes in pizza , so if you’re there don’t ask for pasta or just read the menu. It’ll avoid awkward moments and make your life and the server’s easier.  What makes this pizzeria different from all others that’s already out there?

The establishment is the first to make a theme of create your own pizza. For pizza chef’s wannabe or aspiring pizza connoisseurs even just adventurous enough to make your personalized pizza; this is your place. You can choose starting from the sauce all the way to your veggies.  Does it boggles the mind that it’s possible you make your creation? This is your chance to make your dream pizza

Let me just give you the overview. You can choose from two sauces, either go red for tomato based or white which is just olive oil for those who’s not fond of tomatoes.  As for the cheese, besides the well known mozzarella, parmesan; Project pie has gorgonzola, even ricotta cheese, yum! As for toppings they have the regular stuff in pizza’s your sausages, salami, bacon, olives, but what makes it better is that they have the other treats, such as Canadian bacon, prosciutto, jalapenos, yep that chili for those who want their pizzas spicy and they have the herbs as well, Rosemary, basil to add that wonderful smell.

Now for those who are first timer or are just not comfortable making your own creation, The staff is accommodating to help you in making your personalize pizza. Just ask. Or just order their pre designed pizza, You’ll never go wrong with that.  Since the crust is thin its better to eat the pizza while it’s warm.

The pizza is roughly 9 cm in diameter so it’s good for one person. However there are people who can’t finish the whole while there are others who can eat 3 and still be hungry. You choose which category are you most comfortable with no pressure.

Price wise they are within reasonable range. For 285 Php, you have a single serving and as much toppings as you can  place on the dough. Its’  a new experience for everyone and the coolest place for food lovers and not so food lovers. Imagine good pizza of your creation!!.
