It's been months since i wrote on this blog. Truth be told I'm not a writer. I rather read and do stuff experience life then analyze. Store that knowledge and just look for the next thing i can experience. I'm also lazy especially in writing. I'd rather talk and tell it than write it all down. I rather go out and just look around than sitting down on my pc then writeyet here i am after almost three months Typing what i think.
To be honest i had lots of time to write. I just don't have the drive to sit down and type. There are lots of things that is happening and convey my thoughts on the recent events. From the PDAF to Binay case. In order to avoid getting my hands in the pot i'd rather keep those opinions to myself rather than incite a long debate then an argument.
So why am I writing now. Since It's almost the year end and the just to look back on what happened this year. and try to learn from all the crazy ride that is called 2013.
Well i get laid off on my previous job for the first quarter this year. Then i got hood winked. Thank fully i still am floating now but not as high as before. Meet lots of people some stayed a lot got revamped. I've been a support for my child hood friend. Been a jack of trades. trying to make ends meet. Played around and what have you. Technically what a bachelor tends to do and had the year opposed to him.
With all this the thing i learned, Rise up. always rise up. It doesn't matter how many times you fall down. Its how many times you get back up. It makes you a better person. of course you should know the lessons its not a leson if one repeats the same mistake again.
For all those people who are still with me. I thank you. I know i do not show it. I appreciate you all. I just am always the lone wolf. Always there but never staying too long. I am better than what i am before. SO with that i Thank you.
Next year is goingto be great ride so bette brace yourself. and make sure to saddle up

Great Hair Blow Out
Pollution is a major concern right now . Not only it affects the environment; it also affects the social and our lifestyle as well. If polluting is a crime then all of us are suspects more so than others. What do we do? We use the three R's yes we reduce reuse and recycle. in order to help minimize the pollution and also prevent flooding in the Metro.
In this, Uniliver hair brands, Dove, Sunsilk, Vaseline and Clear are partnering with the biggest companies in the country for a grand celebration. The Great Hair Blow Out is Unilever’s way of rewarding and thanking their loyal customers who have made Unilever’s Shampoo brands leaders in its category.
And it Gets Better.for the people who will be clamoring about the sachet and bottles that would add to the current plastic problem. Well read further...

What does that mean to us the consumers? Well for every purchase of Dove, Sunsilk, Vaseline and Clear shampoo bottles and sachets assures you of winning prizes. The prizes would include Smart prepaid load, which they can redeem at Cebuana Lhuillier outlets across the country, special discounts at National Bookstore and David’s Salon, and a free upsize at McDonald’s. Peanuts you would say but it gets better; among the prizes to be won are 2 Ford Fiestas, 56 international and domestic Flights from Cebu Pacific, 25 Samsung tablets, 25 Samsung phones. Not too shabby huh? Even if you don't get the big prize you still get smaller prizes just by buying your shampoo.
The
Great Hair Blow Out brings to life the companies commitment to environmental
sustainability.Meaning that the companies are aware if the problem and have already made certain steps and as part of
Unilever’s Sachet Recovery Program, this campaign targets to collect 18 million sachets. Yes that's right 18M, I hope that they could collect more. So what will the companies do to the sachet? Be at ease they will not recycle them as sachet again nor burn it which will add to the green house gas effect. These will be converted into
various sustainability programs such as converting these to cement pavers. These
will then be donated to partner communities all over the Philippines to be used to construct pathways and pavements and other
unique products such as bags and chairs.
Hollow blocks with sachet bits are stronger than your regular blocks i would say same as true for the for the concrete pave. they stick together and has more binding power. Also for bags and chairs since they are plastic they are stronger and can be re use again.. just like those handbags that ladies use in their apparel. An advance apology to the ladies who will be reading this. I am not a fashion expert and i don't really have any idea of your preference. If it helps the environment, It is functional it's good enough for me, :P
Looking at it this makes everybody a winner. Not only do the consumers get to use their brands, you get the chance to win certain prizes. The companies get the chance to return something back to the communities through the sachet, lessens the environmental wastes. Communities are then given livelihood programs for the weaving and handbag making, As for concerete well for building possibly roads or what ever infrastructure what is needed. Less pollution since the plastics are not burned nor dumped in land fills. Its all a win win situation. Of course it requires participation from all of us.

AXE Party
Remember when we were young and cast our eyes on the stars saying " I want to be an astronaut and travel in space?" Or watching a space themed movie wishing," I want to go to there."
For all the astronauts or space adventurers at heart here is your chance to fulfill that dream! I kid you not. AXE has launched its program to send 3 Filipinos. Yes, the citizens he of the Philippines who lives here in the country and not on another part of the world, will have a chance to go to space. Great idea!! So why the Philippines why not some other nation?
Well, we only ranked 4th among the other countries who are participating in this foot race.. you heard it right, We ranked fourth on the international list who has that much application. Imagine against 2 million hopefuls who would want to partake in the said program three Filipinos will be chosen.. That would say a lot ..
Initially there are 28,020 applications alone here in the country and from those only 2 will be chosen. How will they be chosen will be based on the 3 categories ( i'm sorry but popularity is not part of the test), These are brain power, physical strength and endurance test. Hey being an astronaut is no easy feat so if we are going to send guys into space. Might as well get the cream of the crop right? You don't want to have some one representing the country as some one who has motion sickness,
First Challenge is a combination of abstract reasoning, logical, mathematical knowledge, The Second challenge is a test physical capabilities,by running an obstacle course designed for military training. The last is basically the toughest since the candidates who passed the first two trials will try to outlast each other in tough conditions. This is battle of wit, strength, and determination. Just like an international show we all love to watch hehe..
You did notice that i only mentioned two right? so where will they get the third? That is a wild card that they will choose among the raffle entries who will the lucky one. This is will be a chance if in case they did not made the cut. Now this is a once in a lifetime opportunity, what you do is buy any AXE Apollo body Spray product and the receipt is consider as the raffle entry. Simply key in AXE <name of store>/<last three digits of the receipt> send it to 2600.
Now if you are the lucky one chosen not only will you have the chance to go to space your name will also be immortalized in the history books,

Crazy June
After a month of silence.. I am back!!. Unlike my other posts; which either talks about food or toys( the most delightful thing for any child or child at heart. Ehhem including your's truly.) This is just a flashback in the events for the past month.
In between job interviews ( yes,, i am still looking for a job), Master's education ( enrollment was a test of patience), and being the my best friend's psychiatrist as she is going through the emotional turmoil in her life. ( Anyone who do know the the role well yo get the idea. As for who doesn't know, you are fortunate enough but there will come a time that you have to be there i do not want to scare you off. ).
Before hand i have to apologize to most of the people who reads this. This is the post that has no pics what so ever. Yes i am still in between jobs, going to one job interview to the next praying and hoping I bag a job which the same as i left before or something higher The details to why left my previous work is better left unsaid. But i left with clear records and honorable discharge. So there. I went to interviews which are conducted at night( for those who are in the shared services group. You know what i mean) . Or sometimes in the afternoon or during lunch. These interviews are not even close to each other. If you live in Manila such as I. It's crazy to go from one interview especially if they are across town. You get to have an interview in Makati in the morning and run to Fort Bonifacio around mid noon and have another at night. Its crazy but hey i need a job and well one can't complain much. So if you do know a company in sore need of a Team lead or analyst maybe bring my name up. I'll be truly grateful and when i do get in just tell me and i'll gladly take you for coffee. (this is not the coffee that you get in the office which is for free lol)
I am taking up my master's education right now in one of the universities here in Manila. This is my second year and hoping to be finished by next year. It's quite funny to think that one of the biggest state universities still has an enrollment plan that has not been updated since possibly after the Vietnam war or possibly since the Nixon administration. I kid you not people still has to wait in line. Subject approval are still manually conducted and there is only one person who approves the subjects among the 1200 students in the masteral education everyday. Doing the math ? can you imagine how fast the enrollment system is? Honestly, people has to spend the whole day there just to get their subjects enrolled and this does not include the waiting in the cashier which is a looooonnngggg line as well. And these people are all working., they have to take a leave at their jobs just to enroll they have already spent wasted time waiting for nothing!! I feel for my fellow classmates. if there is a faster way of enrolling do make some adjustments. PPPPPLLLLLLlease for the convenience of all.
So there we were waiting for the class enrollment which by the way took all day. i was there by 9 in the morning on the first day of the enrollment which happens also to coincide with thesis defense as well. Find it absurd? yeah the feeling is mutual. yes the subject approver ( forgive the term) is also a panelist for the defense as well.. so the whole enrollment was suspended until the whole defense was done. yes thre were only roughly 200 students who has successfully enrolled on the first day. I as almost doe during the noon but i did not made it to putting my name in the list of subjects as they were being hurried by the dean. call it tough luck, So we had to return again at 6:30 pm as they announced that it would resume by that time.. Guess what ? they resumed the enrollment at 7:45 in the evening and they will cut the enrollment by 8:30 pm. Well since my home is near i had the chance to go back home and sleep the afternoon just to catch up on lost sleep. But how about the others who live outside the city? yeah .. that's the pain on the enrollment. I went back the following day just to pay for the tuition fee. If my experience is dreadful well, compared to the experience of the students who enrolled the following day, i was in paradise!!!. Same subject approval person.. But this time it took them 2 hours. yes you heard me right 2 hours to approve 40 persons. and we have more than 500 students that day not including freshmen.
Cry for blood has been voiced and i do not blame the students. funny thing is i have time to joke with the officers just help ease the tension. I do not envy the people elected for the positions. They really do have the hard role. So the current MBA officers i salute you for your temerity and grace under pressure.
As for my best friend. She was my best friend for 28 years. yes we are friends for 28 years and so we shared our child hood together. we know how ugly we look when we were younger and when we cry. Memories of the hair the fashion and the ridiculousness we have gone through. Now she has heart broken can i not be there? The saying that friends are there in times of adversity to help each other be strong and also to have a strong ear and super human patience. So here i am her listening post and adviser. Not to say we do argue often when one of us is stubborn not to budge our stand point. This happens any time of the day or any part of the week. Tempers flared, shouting are heard, arguments are fought over. But in the end of the day. Friends can forgive each other and talk things over. Pretty funny but hey that's what friendship is all about. I am not saying this is enjoyable but this is reality. Friendship are being tested time and again just to see how the two of you would stick together. And 28 years of friendship is alot .
Well, that's my crazy month this July i pray better things to come my way. Oh yeah classes has already started. And we do have funny moments. Crazy antics and ridiculous ideas. i'll write it up some other time.

Roasterrifc Terrifically Roasted
A business set up by Siblings who shares their mom's passion for cooking gave us this great new look on the roasted foods.
These sibling had added new twist that makes your tongue craving for more foods. With the herbs and ingredients stuffed in the meat. It give of a refreshing feeling on the food.
They also have a resto in the area since not all people do go to the resto they reached out and find the market at mezza norte.
What can i say if i am a lost for words?? The Chicken is good which reminds us of the chinese style of cooking having the crispy skin and a bit of the old place( china town). While the pork is highly recommended.
