Fila's Rock and Ride ( ATAT Racing )

Last July 9, 2014, a party was held in Jill’s at the Fort for the birthday of the President of Fila. This event was made in honor of the lady who made great things possible for the shoe brand that is familiar to all and making it a national trademark for at least in the local grounds. Endearing more to the hearts of Filipinos who love sports and fashion.

Ms Cris Albert, the celebrant graced the night further with the presence on her stunning black dress and bubbly personality, mingling with everyone. Her radiance and game  attitude made the party more enjoyable not only as the host but as the life of the party. That event was a bash. Drinks flowing, foods great celebrities are all around,

 

What better way to make this event more meaningful and spectacular? I mean honestly, great place, good food, drinks, and lovely people all around? Thanks to the effort and great idea by Ms. Cherry Burwell  Fila’s Advertising and Promotions Manager.  What more can you ask for? Well , Fila has teamed up with the ATAT Racing the only motorcycles group that’s also the racing team of the country. Having a  The bikes being used for the races and showcased on this event are every boy’s or man’s dream. Its’ like bike heaven, we got the Ducati race bikes, bikes that are faster than your average cars,  which can go up to 290 K/h. The manager of this prestigious racing team is Mr. Lester Codog Owner of Foilacar who has seen the idea value and team  up of Fila’s brand with the racing team.

The team that has won in several race tracks and brought pride to nation on motorbike racing.  They had joined in international competitions and has made a name in such races that we are gaining ground as nation on this sport. This hobby is expensive.  Each bike would cost a minimum of 1.8M pesos and not including the spare tires and other accessories. Each tire would cost around 18,000 Php. For regular joe’s like us this is more than what we earn for half  a month or even a month.  All the members are businessmen and they do this for the love of the sport.  I can imagine the expenses already. You can see the pics of the bikes and the members below ( Guys, iT’s ok to drool and look) I sympathize, we know we can’t afford these babies, for now!! But I have touched and sat upon the saddle. Haha ( Note: I sat not rode the bike ok?)

Going back to the party, Philippine volcanoes was there as well as guest for the lovely celebrant. A lot of personalities , endorsers, and even not from showbiz are there as well wishers to out celebrant.  As the party comes to full swing and the event a success, we can expect many great things to come as with the mademoiselle who made all this possible for Fila. A Queen on her own rights and a visionary with the sense of nationalist pride.
